Hazelnut chocolate fondue

No-one is going to argue with Annemarie Bolduc about chocolate fondue being a delicious dessert (or afternoon treat!), especially when served with fresh apples (or any other favourite fruit).

Indulge in the rich, velvety goodness of hazelnut chocolate fondue, a decadent treat that’s perfect for any occasion. This recipe combines the smoothness of melted chocolate with the nutty richness of hazelnuts, creating a luscious dip that’s ideal for fresh fruits, marshmallows, or even chunks of your favorite cake. Whether you’re hosting a party or enjoying a cozy night in, hazelnut chocolate fondue is sure to be a hit!

Here’s the recipe on how to make your own.

Ingredients:

Crisp apple variety (1 per person)

¼ cup hazelnut meal

¼ cup cocoa powder

90g dark chocolate

90g milk chocolate

1 cup milk (adjust the quantity to the preferred thickness)

Pinch of cinnamon

Hazelnut Chocolate Fondue How To:

1. Slice the apples and place them in a serving dish. If you don’t use a non-browning apple variety, cut them right before you serve them.

2. In a small saucepan, mix together the remaining fondue ingredients.

3. Warm and melt the mixture slowly on low heat until smooth, stirring well.

As an extra tip, if you find it too thick, add more milk. Pour the mix into the fondue dish, light the candle, and dip the fruits in. Et voilà!
