Landshare Australia is an online network that connects people who want to grow food to space where they can grow it. It's a process where land ownwers allow others to use their land - without charge - to produce organic crops that can be shared by both parties and reduce food miles.
The website is also a place where organic vegie growers can chat, have their gardening questions solved by the community Veg Doctors, support campaigns and share ideas, resources as well as produce.
The Landshare Australia initiative, led by Organic Gardener Magazine contributor Phil Dudman is generating a lot of interest across the country. Last week, Phil was invited to explain the concept on Channel 7's Sunrise breakfast program. Click Here to watch the video
