Tidy up your herb spiral and dust down your chicken tractor: it’s National Permaculture Day on May 1.
So far, permie groups in Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Noosa, the Hunter, the Southern Highlands, the Central Coast and Bega (all NSW), plus Cairns and Noosa (Queensland) have signed up to provide workshops, talks, films and permablitzes in a bid to spread the word.
In the true permaculture spirit of sharing knowledge, it’s all going to be free.
To register your group’s activities email Andrew at events@permacultureday.info
You can find out what’s going on in your area at the website www.permacultureday.info just as soon as it is up and running. In the meantime, there’s a bit of blurb here.
The day promises to be a great way of learning more about permaculture and meeting like-minded people.
