Cloud has silver lining

Volcanoes aren't all bad. In Britain, people living under flight paths have welcomed the eruption of Eyjafjallajokull, and the subsequent cancellation of flights, because it means they can hear birds singing again, says The Guardian.
What’s more, the UK's Daily Telegraph reports, gardeners may soon be celebrating, as the volcanic ash settles on Britain’s vegie patches, providing minerals and nutrients, aerating soil and improving its water-holding capacity.
No aeroplanes, better soils... soon everyone will be wanting one.
